Aston Martin has revealed the new Valhalla Spider, a convertible version of the Valhalla coupe. The Valhalla Spider is a high-performance vehicle with a hybrid V8 powertrain, producing 1,064bhp and 811lb ft of torque.
The car features a twin-turbo 4.0-litre engine and a 6.1kWh high-performance battery, which powers three electric motors. Two of the motors are located on the front axle and are controlled by computers, while the third motor is situated inside the eight-speed DCT gearbox.
Performance and Features
Aston Martin claims the Valhalla Spider can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 217mph. This top speed is only achievable with the roof down. With the standard fabric roof in place, the top speed is limited to 124mph.
To achieve the higher top speed, an optional carbon fibre hard top is available. The Valhalla Spider also features a wind deflector, tweaked active aerodynamics, and a new calibration for the electronic stability program.

Design and Interior
The Valhalla Spider has a removable and stowable fabric roof as standard. The car also comes with Aston’s new “Touring Seat”, which is designed to be more comfortable than the carbon chairs available in the coupe. However, the carbon chairs can be specified at no extra cost for those who prefer a more performance-oriented seating option.
The Valhalla Spider has the same drive modes, vehicle control system, and F1-inspired design elements as the coupe. Aston Martin expects the Spider to account for one in four Valhalla sales, with the majority of examples already allocated.
Availability and Pricing
Despite being mostly sold out, Aston Martin has confirmed that some Valhalla Spiders are still available for purchase. The base price is expected to be around £1.3m+. Aston Martin’s CEO, Adrian Hallmark, said, “High speed or low speed. Rain or shine. Roof on or roof off. Road or track. Valhalla Spider ticks every box.”
