Chinese luxury car brand AITO is preparing to enter the European market in 2027, and it’s making its presence known at the Paris Motor Show. The brand is announcing its upcoming arrival and model line-up to a global audience, signaling its intent to become a major player in the automotive world.

AITO’s large stand at the Paris Motor Show showcases its “Intelligence Redefining Luxury” philosophy, which combines traditional luxury qualities with technological luxury. The brand believes that luxury is measured not only in materials and design but also by intelligence and safety.

The New Era of Luxury

According to AITO, safety is the greatest luxury, and its cars are designed to think several steps ahead and anticipate what occupants need. The brand’s parent company, SERES Group, has 40 years of industrial experience and is recognized as one of China’s Top 500 Enterprises.

AITO has developed into a luxury automotive brand, building on the foundation of its parent company. The brand has developed a technology platform, the SERES MF Platform, which supports multiple powertrain options, including battery electric vehicle (BEV), range-extender electric vehicle (REEV), and plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV).

From Philosophy to Capability

AITO’s platform integrates advanced intelligence into every layer of the vehicle, including the chassis, cabin, driving systems, central computing, and services. The brand has partnered with top-tier global partners, including Bosch and major battery supplier CATL, to produce high-end vehicles and deliver a consistently high-quality experience to users worldwide.

Production takes place at the SERES Super Factory, which is powered by an intelligent industrial brain and combines intelligent manufacturing with rigorous quality management. This ensures precision and consistency throughout the production process.

Proven in China

AITO’s record in China is proof of its philosophy, recognized by industry assessors and customers alike. The brand was ranked among the top 100 most valuable automotive brands worldwide in Brand Finance’s 2026 rankings and was the only Chinese brand among the top 10 global luxury automotive brands.

AITO’s flagship, the AITO 9, achieved number one in the overall C-NCAP safety assessment and has ranked first in sales among luxury models in its segment in China for two consecutive years. Customers have been positive, with the AITO brand ranking first among new-energy luxury brands for customer advocacy in a J.D. Power brand study.

AITO now has more than 1.2 million users, whose vehicles are connected online around the clock and have collectively traveled more than 40 billion kilometers, 71% of it powered by electricity. The brand’s intelligent driver assistance systems have proactively prevented more than four million potential collision risks.

From China to Europe

As AITO sets its sights on the European market, the brand is working towards compliance with key European requirements, including Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). AITO is also building around the needs of European consumers through localized product development, market adaptation, and service capabilities.

The Paris Motor Show is an important milestone in AITO’s broader global vision ahead of its planned official entry into the European market in 2027. With its proven record in China and clear idea of what luxury should be, AITO is poised to make a significant impact in the European market.
